Dr. Bruce R. Holladay graduated from the Medical College of Toledo and completed his general and orthopaedic residency at Akron City Hospital. He completed a year of fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery with the Bone and Joint Institute at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Holladay was named a "Top Doctor" by Cincinnati Magazine in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and again in 2016, and has been a member of Commonwealth Orthopaedic Centers since 1993. He served as President of the practice from 2011-2014, and is again serving in that role from 2016 to the present.
Dr. Holladay served as a team physician for the 2007 Pan American Games USA men’s and women’s basketball teams in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has also served as a USOC team physician at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. For the past sixteen years, he has been the team physician for several high school teams in Northern Kentucky, and currently serves as Team Physician at Ryle, Boone County, and Dixie Heights High Schools. He is an active member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America and the American College of Sports Medicine.
Dr. Holladay specializes in sports medicine and knee, shoulder and elbow.
